I love them . The architecture of the arrangements , the flowers and the suggestion of the space they’re positioned in . The shadows creating dynamic shapes , they all make my heart happy.
There was an urgency painting them. Racing to capture the shadows , the exuberance of the flowers as they peaked .

Tending to some necessities before winter 🥶 rears its head . Needed a buffer between the concrete floor and the interior. ✅ multiple coats of paint and then at 4 pm … 24 hours after the last coat was applied, I can get back in there !
Lotsa thinking went into what to put down . Eventually decided since I paint the floor every few years , i would just go with a floating wood floor. One more thing off the list . Yay!!

I haven’t been posting much lately, my bandwidth has been full trying to sort myself out in this new city and figure out the rhythms of working in this studio I’ve built. I’m opening up my studio next weekend as part of the @osstudiotour . My friends at @mammoth.hall.press will be setting up here too. It runs sept 21-22 , 2024 from 10 am to 5 pm.
